Rolfing®

Melissa Dailey has been teaching health and fitness classes for over 30 years. Melissa is also in her 24th year of service in the Air Force and has developed many military physical fitness programs. She was also a key developer of the most recent Air Force-wide physical fitness standards for the required Air Force physical fitness test. She presently teaches Spin and Core Length & Strength at the Wellness Center.

Melissa graduated from the Rolf Institute of Structural Integration® in Boulder, Colorado in September 2017 and is Dayton's only certified Rolfer™. Originally developed by Dr. Ida P. Rolf, Rolfing is a system of connective tissue manipulation and body education focused on structural alignment and balanced movement. Its hands-on approach releases deeply ingrained tension and is highly effective in treating neck and back pain, scoliosis, impaired mobility, repetitive stress injuries, and other chronic strain patterns.

Melissa is offering Rolfing sessions at the Wellness Center on Wednesdays only and is accepting new clients of all ages.
